Polyn | Plant Based Skin Care

March 30, 2017

Off late, I have been getting a ton of compliments saying that I am glowing... while I am obviously delighted by all the sweet remarks and comments, what I am not sure of is if my skin is glowing thanks to pregnancy or if it’s thanks to my new skin care regimen courtesy of POLYN, a 100% Plant-Based Skincare to nourish face, body, and mind - it’s a bit of both, that I am sure :)

Being cautious of and making slow but steady changes to what I put in my body and on my skin is extremely important to me (and so should be everyone else’s as one’s overall health should be a top priority for all), because let’s face it, there are just so many harmful chemicals in most things we use on a daily basis. While it’s no easy task to eliminate all chemicals from our lives, it’s not too hard to gradually switch to brands and products that are kind to us, our skin and the environment. And one such holistic brand that I have been using the past few weeks and already loving is the skincare line, POLYN - their products are 100% cruelty-free, 100% synthetic-free and contain 100% non-GMO ingredients.

“POLYN is the latest addition to SKINourishment, a 20-year- old natural skincare company created by aromatherapist and Eastern medicine practitioner Polly Glasse. The company is best known for its climbOn and crossFIXE brands, popular among well-known athletes and everyday natural-minded sports Enthusiasts. Made in the Texas hill country, each batch meets the highest quality personal care standards, as verified by leading organizations and the European Union standards bodies.”

The products from POLYN's Essential 3 Face Line are a part of my new face restoration day and night skincare regimen and I couldn’t be happier with the results; my skin now feels cleaner, softer, tighter, and most importantly my skin has never felt so rejuvenated, so alive! Plus, the unique aromatherapeutic ingredients in each of these products are calming and make for an extremely refreshing experience - feels like I am at a spa every time I use it.

More reasons to love POLYN:
  • 100% Plant-based ingredients: They are toxin-free, food grade, gluten free and vegan. Their products do not contain synthetics or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) but are made with the highest quality of active, aromatherapeutic, biodegradable ingredients. And no fillers (like water) are added.
  • Cruelty Free: Never tested on animals. Certified by PETA and the European Union standards bodies.
  • Purposeful Packaging: To reduce the waste footprint, 100% of their packaging is reusable, recyclable or compostable. They continually consider all the materials used and look for ways to increase compostability and reduce total waste.

Tid-bits and useful resources I found on POLYN’s website:
  • Environmental Working Group (EWG) advocates for cleaner products, and educate us about non-toxic ingredients. So, check out EWG’s website if you are interested in learning more about other products you use.
  • Visit the PETA website to check on brands you love if you want to make sure the rest of your products are cruelty-free. Or download their “bunny app” to use as you shop the aisles of your favorite store.

So obviously there are more reasons than one for me to love a brand like POLYN and would highly recommend you give it a try! POLYN is available on Amazon too or you can directly shop from their website.
