Thanks to Travel Costa Mesa for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions in the post are my own.

We just got back from a 5-day vacation in Orange County, specifically Costa Mesa and Surf City/Huntington Beach. While I have much to share about this amazing trip and all the wonderful things we did and the fun times we had during this vacation, I am going to kick-off by sharing about one of the favorite things we did in Costa Mesa, because, this is time-bound, and I want to make sure that you add this to your list.

When we were in town so was Aladdin and his entire gang. While we had to head back in just a few days, they stayed put in Costa Mesa entertaining everyone who went to meet them until March 23rd, 2019 ;)

Photos of the show are from the internet and Deen Van Meer.

P.S: Cameras are not allowed inside and you are prohibited from taking photos inside.

P.S: Aladdin and gang might soon be coming to a town near you too, check their schedule here and snag your tickets pronto to one of the shows, and you can thank me later! Trust me, the huge Segerstrom Center was jampacked cuz this show is that ah-mazing and you don’t want to miss out.

“Discover a whole new world at Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical flying into Costa Mesa's Segerstrom Center for the Arts. From the producer of The Lion King comes the timeless story of Aladdin, a thrilling new production filled with unforgettable beauty, magic, comedy, and breathtaking spectacle. It's an extraordinary theatrical event where one lamp and three wishes make the possibilities infinite.”

Vinay and I went to watch The Aladdin Show with our 23-month-old being fully aware that we might have to walk out anytime during the show if our baby boy did not behave. But thankfully he slept through the first half of it and we were able to keep him kinda distracted during the second half without him screaming, crying or doing the 6831726 things he could have done to disturb other people, phew! So the hubs and I got to enjoy the entire show with very minimal amount of interruption, and let me tell you, it feels nothing less than an achievement at this point LOL #smallwins ;)

For starters, it was A MAGIC CARPET RIDE (as one of the reviewers said) and the whole thing was GENIEous - musical, beautiful, and humorous!

While Genie stole the show, Aladdin’s performance was outstanding as well. The other actors/actresses on stage were great too. Overall, the overpowering talent up on the stage, from start to finish, was thoroughly entertaining and remarkable!

And honestly, I can’t say which aspect of the show was my absolute favorite, because everything was ma-gi-cal, from the exceptional sets to the dazzling costumes to the outstanding choreography to the harmonious singing to the amazing special effects, every.single.thing was phenomenal and very well done.

But the whole magic carpet scene with the starry skies was on a whole other level and was done GENIEously! And the inclusion of jokes based on current events and pop culture was another great addition.

All in all, it is a great entertainer and a must watch for the entire family. Again, do NOT miss out, see below for more details about their tour schedule and get your tickets NOW, they sell out fast!
