Thanks to Smith Brothers Farms for sponsoring this blog post. As always, all opinions in the post are my own.
Raise your hand if you thought that the milkman
aka Smith Brothers Farms exclusively only delivered MILK to your doorstep?
If you did then you are certainly not alone girlfriend!
I will be honest with ya, it is exactly what I’d think every time I saw a Smith Brothers Farms famous insulated boxes on the front porch of any house I’d pass by in the neighborhoods.
But a few months back I was in for a real surprise and my understanding completely changed when I had a chat with their team.
And I was like, ‘WOW, that is amazing, I had no freaking clue’!
I may or may not have done a little happy dance when I heard about it.
But seriously though, do I live under a rock?
Sometimes I sure think so…
Look what we both went for the moment we saw it.
Nope, I didn’t prompt him, he came near the goods and his hands went straight to the muffins
In his words, ‘I waan cupkayk)
But now that I know everything our milkman from Smith Brothers Farms can do for us, by which I mean bring for us, I am one happy camper and mama. Because Smith Brother Farms not only have the best quality products but they also have a huge variety of food products to choose from.
P.S. I first bought Smith Brothers Farms milk home when I spotted them at a local grocery store (mentioned in this post). Though I had heard so many good things about them in the past I had hesitated to sign up and become their customer so I was thrilled to see that a grocery store carried their milk. Back then I was worried about the commitment (but again, that opinion too changed, read on to learn more)
‘mama, one for you and one for Aarush’, awww my heart melted
Gobble gobble, it was the tastiest pumpkin-flavored muffin I ever did eat #yummyinmytummy
Today, I am here to break it all down and tell you why you too should give Smith Brothers Farms a try if you live in the greater Puget Sound area…
Smith Brothers Farms is a local family-owned and operated dairy that has been serving the greater Puget Sound area for more than 90 years. They have grown to be one of the largest independent dairies in the region, processing and delivering the freshest milk and select Northwest products to more than 50,000 homes every week.
Read more about their history here, it is pretty interesting to learn more about your local milkman from how they started to how they have evolved over the last 90 years, impressive story!
They deliver the freshest milk, period! They source both organic and conventional milk from trusted family farms in the Pacific Northwest, making them proud purveyors of freshness and quality.
Smith Brothers Farms milk comes straight from the cows to your doorstep within 24 to 48 hours. They pasteurize and homogenize the milk on-site, package it, and it’s on the delivery truck the next day.
Smith Brothers Farms is proud of their commitment to the highest quality standards; their milk has always been 100% rBST free.
All their dairy products are Kosher certified and free from rBST hormones, keeping our family’s milk as pure and wholesome as we expect.
Smith Brothers Farms partners with several local companies and artisans, to bring us fresh flavors from around the Pacific Northwest.
And this is hands down one of my most favorite things about Smith Brothers Farms as I get to sample and taste so many delicious local products that I wouldn’t have otherwise had access to (or I’d have to make several individual trips to where each of these local products was available for purchase).
Thanks to Smith Brothers Farms that I am now introduced to so many local brands and products that I and my family have come to love!

You all know just how obsessed I am about trying all the seasonal food (read more here to know just how crazy I am about it) so to be able to sample the seasonal goodies from local brands has been another huge plus!
Full transparency here, it is also another reason I took this long to get this blog post out. I wanted to enjoy some Fall foods before I gave you the low down on every.single.thing I love about Smith Brothers Farms.
And I am so glad that the wait did NOT disappoint at all, one of the yummiest Smith Brothers Farms deliveries came in two weeks ago, loaded with some of my #FallFavoriteFood. Can you tell!? 😉
Smith Brothers Farms products include choices from which you can make an entire meal i.e. breakfast, lunch, or dinner for your entire family. Meaning, planning your weekly meals is made that much easier. I love their ravioli pastas and sauces for quick weeknight dinners.
A HUGE BONUS – they have our little one’s favorite Mac & Cheese which is ready in less than 5 minutes. Our toddler son typically doesn’t want anything to do with food, he is happy if he is not being fed, but when I bring out Smith Brothers Farms Mac & Cheese he not only eats it but also finishes the whole thing all by himself. I am telling you, it is a treat to the eyes, and nothing makes this mama happier! #TRUESTORY
They also have easy grab-and-go snack options. These make for perfect pick me ups for kids and adults alike.
Lunch / Dinner Options
Not only does Smith Brothers Farms delivers products to your doorstep, but they also take it a step further (see what I did there) and helps you decide what to make/cook (when your brain is too tired to think or not). I know, we all have those days and weeks. So any help is absolutely welcome right!?
Again, they have so many seasonal recipes featured too. So if Pinterest and Google overwhelm you then look no further than Smith Brothers Farms website. And you should be all set for the upcoming holiday season and parties.
There is no subscription fee to sign up. Once you are signed up you can create a standing order that will automatically be delivered to your doorstep, every week or every other week based on your preference. Or you can customize your order and get as many products or as little as you want based on what is happening with your life that week. Or even skip deliveries as required, this hugely helps if you travel a whole lot like we do.
P.S. These images were captured during just one of our weekly deliveries. I pretty much switch it up each week based on what we have a stock of at home and what is going on in our lives as far as our schedule goes (plus, we all love variety).
Delivery is FREE* if you have a minimum order of $10. If it is less than $10 then there is a small delivery fee. But honestly, with so many great products to choose from you will easily fill up your porch box and not pay the delivery fee.
And if you do not wish to continue to be a Smith Brothers Farms customer then you can cancel anytime.
Last but not the least, since Smith Brothers Farms partners with many local brands and businesses, being a Smith Brothers Farms customer is such a great way to support a brand that supports other local farms, local brands, and local families.
In a way, it is indirectly doing our bit for the local community!
Well, now that I went on and on about why Smith Brothers Farms is absolutely amazing and why you should sign up to become their customer below is how you can go about it…
Hopefully, you were able to see through the screen my genuine love for the brand, and hopefully, I have been successful at convincing you to become a customer too.
* Delivery Service Area
Smith Brothers Farms delivers to residents of King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, and Kitsap counties.
If you see Smith Brothers Farms porch boxes at neighboring homes, that’s a good sign that they will come to you too. If you’re not sure if they service in your area then call or send them an email with your street address and they will answer your questions. Their customer service is pretty quick (by which I mean awesome!).
* Your Smith Brothers Porch Box
When you sign up with Smith Brothers Farms, your first delivery will include their insulated porch box. These boxes are designed to fit most orders, with room to spare when you want to add something special. Your milkman will place the porch box in an ideal location on your first delivery.
* Delivery Day and Time
Smith Brothers Farms delivery days are Monday-Friday. Your milkman will come to your neighborhood every week, like clockwork. He will generally be at your doorstep at around the same time each week.
* Keeping Products Cool in Summertime
Smith Brothers Farms refrigerated milk trucks keep products cold on the way to your home. And their insulated porch boxes are designed to keep the heat out.
In warmer summer months, they offer complimentary dry ice to keep your products cooler if you are not able to retrieve your order from your porch box right away.
P.S. MY ONLY GRIPE
I know this is asking for too much, but hey, a girl can dream!
I would love to be able to schedule a delivery for the day we return from our travels. Since we travel so much and are always on the road, the last thing I want to do is do a grocery store run right after a long vacation and flight. Now if only I had some fresh milk and tasty food (that I just need to pop in the oven for 5 mins, I am talking about the darn-delicious-and-oh-so-famous Beecher’s Mac & Cheese) waiting for us by our porch to welcome us then that would be huge-freaking-deal!
Again, no prompts here, he went and picked these up cuz of the ‘trucks’ – orange truck and red truck.
Smith Brothers Farms did right even with their logos *clapclap
Nuff said, now go join over 50,000 Puget sound families and get high-quality groceries delivered right to your door!
